Broken Social Scene Announces North American Tour and New Graphic Novel


Broken Social Scene has announced a series of North American tour dates beginning in September. Toronto indie collective to celebrate groundbreaking album’s 20th anniversary You forgot it in people on the trek ahead, performing the album in its entirety at every gig. Broken Social Scene also announced a new graphic novel in conjunction with the pivotal LP. They paired with Z2 comics and writer Lonnie Nadler for Shattered Social Scene: You Forgot It in People, The Graphic Novel. The book reinvents the LP in a series of interwoven vignettes. Alongside Nadler, 13 visual artists have contributed to the graphic novel, which will be released with a 10-inch vinyl single of “Lover’s Spit” that features the album’s original version as well as a stripped-down B-side with Feist on vocals. second extra is a cassette mixtape of previously unreleased instrumental compositions.

Earlier this year, Broken Social Scene released the full career report Old Dead Young: B-sides and rarities Position. Their last studio album dates from 2017 thunder hug.
