Talk to anyone associated with a Star wars The series is like a fun game where one person (the reporter) tries to get information from the other (the talent), even though the two sides don’t know much to say. That said, TV Insider has been lucky before Boba Fett’s book premiere because we got to talk with Ming-Na Wen, who plays Fennec Shand on the new Disney + series.
âIn fact, I’m proud not only that I can keep secrets, but I’m also proud that I can rotate a question,â she tells us of the Mandalorian spin off. âIt seems that I am answering the question and yet I have not given any information! “
There was still a lot to say during the chat, and Wen was able to tell us what to expect from the show. First, the self-proclaimed “big fan” of all things Star wars seems to have a solid understanding of the character of Fennec and what the Skilled Mercenary is. âI think she has a bounty hunter honor code more than a moral line,â she explains. “I think her morals can change depending on her needs, as she is still a mercenary at heart.”
And as fun as Wen has had making the show, she also can’t wait to watch it like the rest of us. “What I can say is the fans are going to have an amazing ride. We have Robert Rodriguez at the helm and this man is so talented. I can’t tell you how crazy his talents are,” he said. she exclaims. “He brings a certain rawness to this show that I find very different from The Mandalorian which has a – it’s a western, but there’s finesse. So I’m excited, I’m excited that the fans are enjoying and seeing Boba Fett’s book. “
