Those presented in the 2022 edition of D CEO The Dallas 500 publication got a preview of the book at a launch party on November 18. The special publication, which celebrates the powerful and influential leaders of North Texas, is the culmination of six months of research by the editors of D CEO, who compile a list based on numerous contacts in the local business community and hundreds of interviews.
Held at the Hall of State in Fair Park in Dallas, the evening featured a traveling magician, live music from the Georgia Bridgewater Orchestra, a fireworks photo op, and signature cocktails. The title sponsors were Maker’s Mark, Rogge Dunn Group and Tri Global Energy.
Guests were greeted by opening remarks from Gillea Allison, President of D Magazine Partners and Editor of D CEO. Editor-in-chief Christine Perez shared behind-the-scenes information about the publication before unveiling the magazine’s cover. âIt is thanks to all of you that Dallas-Fort Worth is such a dynamic business market, the best in the country! She told the award winners. “The Dallas 500 is our tribute to you and everything you do.
The leaders on the cover were individually photographed and were unsure who was joining them until the cover was revealed. They were Rebecca AcuÃ±a from PepsiCo, Nick Clark from Common Desk, Kenji Hashimoto from Amazon, Carolina Alvarez-Mathies from Dallas Contemporary, Francois Reihani from La La Land Kind Cafe, TrÃ© Black from On-Target Supplies & Logistics and Christa Brown- Sanford of Baker Botts.
The 2022 edition of Dallas 500 presents 197 new faces and updated profiles of the 303 returnees. Together, they represented more than 420 dynamic and growing North Texas businesses and organizations.
